Yes, feel bad for Tiafoe as he fought hard to bring this match into a fifth set. Sorry ! They just can't crack this nut... it's their fifth loss against Croatia, I believe!

Saw the Czech/Hungarian playoff. I never heard of the Hungarian players. Fucsovics is not there....well, i don't expect a good outcome for Hungary. May I be wrong in this.

And the couldn't quite do it, although they fought valiantly!

I watched yesterday the doubles France x Croatia. Great doubles match, and I was very happy with France's victory. Let's see if Pouille can win his match today.

I enjoyed watching the doubles FRA-CRO as well - a great match! But Sunday's was really too tall a mountain for Pouille to climb!  Once France lost their first two singles matches on Friday, baring a miracle, the outcome of the tie was pretty much set.

Even before Friday, unfortunately France has no team at the moment. The doubles, yes. But the singles... Chardy? Jo is in a recovery process. And Pouille, we cannot put all the hopes on his shoulders.

I am sad for France, because this was the last "real" Davis Cup. It would be beautiful if they could win the last Coupe des Mousquetaires, be the last D'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos, Aramis.

But congratulations to Croatia. I like Dodig, Cilic, Coric. I don't like Pavic, but this is another story.

Its all good. France won the Soccer world cup against Croatia. Croatia won the Davis Cup against France. Wonderful year for fans from both countries.

Well now, Cilic could stop sobbing about not winning for his country. Too bad for France.
