YESSSSSSSSSS!
Cometh the hour, cometh THE MAN! Namely, the GOAT MAN!
Just wow! When clearly up against it Roger found a way! Outstanding stuff to keep going & have belief to the end. Just wow!
And what is so special about this is that Roger clinched it for team Europe - very fitting, methinks.
I currently bear an uncanny resemblance to the Cheshire Cat!
Thank you as ever, Darling Boy for your endeavours.

I should not be sorry for Nick, but I am. I am so happy and proud Roger won HIS Laver Cup. But what a match Nick played there.
It was a wonderful tournament, big congratulations to Roger and Tony to setting it up.

I just shut myself off from all things tennis after the USO heartbreak and have barely kept track of what's happening in the Laver cup. Does Roger look fine ? Any signs of a lingering injury or exhaustion ?
I was not even harboring any hopes about the indoor season and won't until I see Roger's first match in a real tournament.

That was absolutely brilliant, I've loved all the players involved, it's made me appreciate them at their core. Rafa was with Roger in every point...typical Rafa ey haha, it was infectious....what a brilliant event, and well done nick krygios, stepped up beautifully

Would like to see him unleash he total bag of tricks -- including all his SABR dancing/rattling - this indoor season. Ready for Roger in full flight with his incomparable game.
Gem of a comment, WCR. As for the bolded part - you and me, both.

Has posters soften a bit for Rafa after seeing Roger interact with him so comfortably???
Absolutely not!
Good job Isner and I hope Roger wins his match. This thing could go either way if Roger loses his match....so much for Team World being at a disadvantage.
But I like it getting so close.
I take it that no. 17 Isner won against the USO champion and world no.1 ?
No clue what the format is and how many more matches left. As I scroll through comments, I can say the Laver cup is more competitive than the joke that was USO.

Agreed, MARCIA Nick's game is a favourite of mine and it must be tough for him to lose a match in which he was dominant for a substantial part of it, but ...... Hip! Hip! Hurrah that Roger found a way through!

I loved your comment just last page, wcr, and agree with you about Roger playing defensively (I think all the support from RN was maybe adding to the pressure), but also agre: what a bad ass!.
And, yes! Sport is great.
forummember, it was NOT an exhibition. You really lost some great matches. Exhibition because no points to the rankings, but all matches were for real, and excellent.
It was a pleasure to watch the Team World's bench. What a group of funny people. I think they "played" all the olympic sports in that bench.
Well, it's over. Hoping Rog will take confidence of his wins.
