#UnitedByRog Indian Wells messages of support

Hello everyone.
Now that the inaugural #UnitedByRoger delivery has successfully and so beautifully taken place by Karen and Suni in Dubai, we must quickly turn our attention to Roger’s next tournament in Indian Wells.  With the blessing of RogiFan, Kathy Woodward (K.Elle) and myself (10isFan) are thrilled to have been chosen to do the honors at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.  We will be arriving at the tournament on March 9th and hope to make a delivery during Roger’s practice sessions, before his first match.  

Please send your short messages of support to IW2017UBR@gmail.com by Tuesday, March 7th so we can include them in the delivery.  We’re working hard to create a unique artifact as the vessel for the delivery that will highlight the beauty of the Southern California desert (no camels here   ).    Receiving your message to the gmail ID will help ensure we don’t miss any, now that we no longer have the forum on RF.com and must contend with multiple Facebook and forum sites.

Yes, got your message, Karen. So sad your time in Dubai has come to an abrupt end. Safe travels home and we'll now all turn our attention to Indian Wells.

Hi fedled!! Great to be reunited with you!!! ....I knew it would happen sooner or later. Rosie was keeping me posted about most things. I waited and waited for RF.com to come back, and when the awful new site came up I just had to email Rosie in desperation. I must say Norinchi on Twitter kept me going throughout the drought period.

With 67 messages, we can say that the second #UBR of the year  was delivered successfully.

Mission accomplished! He was sweet & smiley & delightful!

Here's a look inside the #UNITEDBYROG we put together for IW. The cover is a landscape watercolor of the beautiful background here at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, overlooking the practice courts, painted by Kathy's mother. It's mounted on an artist's masonite binder and the message pages are printed on paper with watermarks made from pictures of Roger's matches over the years here at IW. All wrapped up in paper with a map of the world, conveying we're indeed United By Roger!
We're currently sitting at the practice courts waiting for Rogers arrival at noon. Hoping today's the day we make the delivery.
