Well, I will be out for a while, market and so on. See you later, people. Really so good to have time to tennis again. And to see Roger, playing wonderful tennis and happy on court.

and we are seriously elated with Roger's spectacular tournament, won all his matches, singles and doubles and held another shiny trophy. I have become a fan of Belinda Bencic. She is skilled and modest, love her.
Have a wonderful day everyone here and thank you for your good company.

Re: Hopman Cup 2018
congratulations dearest Roger! Congratulations Belinda and te Swiss team.
I'm so happy for the Swiss team, but frankly, I'm so happy for Roger! I can only imagine what this means to him. After his trophy with Martina Hingis here so long ago when he was only 19 years old! And now, a true gentleman on the court and off the court as well, our Roger won the trophy in Perth. It's good for Roger, for his confidence for AO.
Now, take a rest and go to Melbourne!
Love, Mimi

16 Years later... Unreal!
2018 - Roger Federer (36) / Belinda Bencic (20) 2001 - Roger Federer (19) / Matina Hingis (20)
I bet Roger will try to play tennis with it!

Looks like Roger's 2018 is starting off in stellar fashion. May his good fortunes continue throughout the year (and beyond).
Happy New Year to everyone here. I'll be back for the AO and looking forward to sharing some match threads with you all.

Re: Hopman Cup 2018
Congrats Switzerland! I wish I could see some long highlights of all these matches but can't find much on the web. Can't quite believe the 6-0, 6-2 scoreline of the 2nd and 3rd sets with Sascha. I actually like that young man and feel very sad that he has changed the way he plays. I saw him when he was 18 in IW and he played aggressive, attacking tennis. Coming forward so much more than he does now. When Andy Murray was young Roger told him that he needed to have more variety and he got mad at him for it and said that we can't all be Roger. But by developing the grinding style he has now almost certainly ground himself out of competitive tennis. Sascha is young enough to change and the 3 losses here should, hopefully, give him some food for thought.
But, in the meantime YAY ROGER!! WAY TO START 2018!
