Re: Laureus Awards 2018
I believe he should definitively get the 'Comeback' award, but I hope he wins the 'Sportsman of the Year' as well!
I am really not greedy! ... I just think this would be true recognition of this man's greatness!
Excited to be heading to Monaco for the @LaureusSport Awards! Good luck to all the Nominees see you next week #Laureus18

For the first time in more than five years, @rogerfederer is back on top of the rankings as the oldest ever No. 1!
Can he become the most decorated athlete in Laureus Awards history at #Laureus18? pic.twitter.com/otdMjFqZn3
"Swiss tennis player Roger Federer, Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, and American surfer Kelly Slater jointly hold the record for the most awards with four each."
Roger won the Sportsman of the Year award in 2005-2006-2007 and 2008. If Roger wins this year, he would become the most decorated athlete in Laureus Awards history.

There doesn't seem to be any live TV coverage in the UK; however, I see that Eurosport1 is showing an hour-long highlights programme at midnight on 28th February.

Re: Laureus Awards 2018
No offence to Serena’s fans, but didn’t she only play AO last year? Surely there would be more deserving nominees who actually played their sport for most of he year? Or is the nomination to recognise she won a slam while pregnant? Yeah have to say that’s a immense achievement
