Very happy Nick/Jack won. Team Europe is already 3-1, and RN lost his match. All is good at Prague.

Yeah, I was glad Team World won the doubles too - just to make it closer for the Cup score. Obviously all four matches were very close.

I'm guessing we won't know the OOP until late tonight or tomorrow morning.

That was a great doubles match and Berdych was the weak link. I thought Nadal played very well. Too bad Roger didn't play with him. I don't see the schedule for tomorrow up yet.

I only saw the first set of the doubles match, it was good!... although I am a bit mad, as I recorded the match, but the TV scheduled time was too short! :horror: Need to add an extension for tomorrow. Live and learn!  

Anyway, I am happy as well to see that Team World won this one. They need to win a few to keep the competition interesting.

Hi .. what a thrill this day in Prague has been. You can count on the genius of Roger to come up with a great event like this. I missed the first match and the first set of the 2nd. The matches were all close and the competition fierce and the team spirit amazing. Now I want Roger's team to win but I came here feeling guilty because I was cheering for Shapo and I felt sorry for him not winning his match. I found myself cheering like crazy for Nick and Jack, the chemistry between them was amazing, they played amazingly well, they were fun, and I loved the way that those kids on their team celebrated. Well I am thinking Roger's Team won 3 out of 3 I don't feel bad if Team World won the doubles.

I am so glad to see here that others have echoed my sentiment and I don't feel guilty anymore. Tomorrow is a different story. Roger is playing and I will only cheer for Team Europe no matter what.

I've heard that Rodger's project was to make an "official event" of this cup, which could become the new Davis Cup...
Yes it's entertaining, yes it's perfectly organized, but when I hear nadal saying that for him this is not an exhibition, I mean, c'mon, let's be serious for a moment.

You can already point the first major problem of this format: the difference of level between "team europe" and "team world" is just... ridiculous ??
How can you expect any kind of suspense when you have Roger, Nadal, Zverev and Thiem in the same team ??? This is so unbalanced...
+ I don't like the super tie break.
Exhibition without a doubt, from my own point of view.

Anyway, looking forward to saw Fed in action today!!

(p.s. : lol at nadal and berdych playing the double together, didn't know they were good pals... )

Looks like an amazing event this Lavers Cup! I hope I can find a stream and watch Rogers match tonight!
