My comm talking about the specialities of the players: "Federer he can do everything and everything better than anyone: come to the net, play at the baseline, even make children, he decides and makes twins."

Well so far Fed/Djok are ahead in the score but Roger got hit with Djoker's tennis ball on the butt and Djoker took one in the chest.

Funny and true about all that Roger can do. But they did lose this match. I saw nothing, only the scores. But [i] did not think it would work that well. No Stan!

End of DAY 1: Europe 3-1
Fednole played OK. I thought Roger, actually, played better than Novak, who had several unusual misses on return of serves. I mean, he is supposed to be one of the best returners in the business (3rd on the Leaderboard).
I always hope for Roger to win whenever he plays, but it's good that Team World won at least a match today. If the competition was to get too one-sided, people will lose interest, I am sure.
I also enjoyed watching Goffin-Schwartzman - the fight of the midgets! - It was a good match and would have liked to see Diego win, not only because I thought he deserved it, but also to keep things in balance.
So it's 3-1 for Team Europe at the end of Day 1, but tomorrow each match will be worth 2 points, so the trend could quickly shift. It's not over yet!
Besides misfiring the ball once in a while, Fednole also had a hard time avoiding balls, at times! Roger got hit in the butt and Novak took one on the chest at close range!
The expression on Novak's face when he hit Roger was priceless!
Team World socks it to Federer-Djokovic at Laver Cup Ha, ha!

Please, no FedNole or Federovic! Ugh! As for the lot of "miscues" that does not surprise me. But he, Djoker, better not keep it up....hitting Federer. Yes, all taken in good fun, but actual injury can happen.
For the rest of it, I did have a feeling that the World would win this doubles. We shall have to see overall. I wouldn't be too surprised if they also win the cup, just to keep up the interest in the event. What I mean is that World, having lost the inaugural event, might be more driven to win, than some Europe players, say ND. I could be wrong but has he enough of a sharing attitude to be a good team player? It was annoying not to be able to watch the match. They covered the first meet, so why not this one, and it was in the US, too?
Goffin and Schwarzman sound like a good match. Both are real fighters and can make some outstanding plays.
Then, there is Kyrgios, up against Roger the GOAT. I took the first event seriously, but I am nost certain if I can take it quite this seriously, given the talent involved. I hope it is not going to develop an element of an exhibition kind of event, in order to let World win, too, and keep it from being one-sided.

Well, I think the site is OK, although I haven't tried it (Sportzone), as I ended up buying an Amazone Prime membership instead to watch the Cup. The issue seems to be with the Forumotion setup and the AdFly/Media sites. Not your fault, Corinne! I know you were trying to help.

I will ask now and tomorrow, just to remember you: if someone could record tomorrow matches, I would be so happy. My tv will not show it and I have two invitations I cannot say refuse. So, I will not be able to watch the matches tomorrow.
