Re: Laver Cup 2018, Chicago - Sep 21-23, 2018
I watched all the matches yesterday, stayed till the wee hours watching that awful matchup in doubles. OMG did Djoker put a damper on it. Made what could have been an exciting fun match Blaaaah. Roger was trying to cover the court and cover for Djoker who came up with a nice serve or a shot a few times but was no help on the whole. So I went to bed after that loss unhappy, after watching 8 hrs of tennis. I came back late today at 6all in the 2nd Zverev/Isner, I guess I saw the best part, I was screaming and squealing and celebrating all over again. Very happy for that win. Roger and Team all happy. Good to see.
I clicked on Amazon Prime and Laver cup was there for me, clicked on it and got Day 2 I finally figured out. I placed an order lately and clicked in error on 2 day delivery with Prime instead of regular delivery. When I was informed that the order is coming in 2 days, I realized my mistake and was quick to cancel prime. I got a notice of non renewal. SO, I think I have a month trial now Well I had no idea tennis streaming is included in that. So yes I am going to renew. Meanwhile I am enjoying this freebee.
GO Roger, this is not going to be easy on us... But Allez we are all behind you .. Viva Amazon Prime it saved me

Superb stuff from Alex Z to win the match! Some quite outstanding play from Alex to clinch the second set & then the final tb.
A tad sorry for John, who had match point in the 2nd set. But not too sorry as Team Roger is my team!
Roger on court - the very best sight in all sports for me.
Good luck Roger.

Roger seems to want to give Nick a game.

Looks like US team should have chosen Layhani as a captain instead of JMac, I mean it takes someone special to get Kyrgios going...
Roger is playing really well today though, returning nicely and cleverly using slice which seems to be effective on this court. He's not giving Kyrgios much chance, moving him around like junior.

I understand it's a team effort, but rest of the team should kiss Roger's Nike shoes for this kind of performance.

Good point, Darktemplar, but let's keep it between ourselves! They need to be motivated.
It looked exciting, even just from the scores: Roger won very emphatically. Reminds me of those days, when, after winning the Wimbledon in 2003, the first GS trophy, he went on soaring, as his coach, Lundgren said. That really was unprecedented, together with his ranking record. Then, anybody who had or would defeat him once, would not be able to do it again.
This is what it felt like now. Bravo, our Roger!
