This is really amazing, to be oficially the best world sportsman of the year when being 36 years old. Cheering

Even more amazing than to be the world number one in tennis.

And more expected Comeback of the Year Award with such a fairy-tale return after a half-year injury break. Totally deserved!

I think he said he hopes he will be remembered as much for his philanthropic work as his tennis. That is a FANTASTIC hope.

Way to go Roger- I was worried that they would look at 2017 and that RN did end as World No 1. But, perhaps they included this year, as well?

But Serena did not deserve to be nominated, let alone win. She missed 95% of the year, for goodness' sake!
