How emotional Roger was throughout his acceptance speech- I think it started with talking about Martina being an inspiration for Mirka and then continued through Nadal and his coaches.

Many congrats roger! How thrilling it is that you have won two more Lauren’s! You fully deserve them.

Thanks for all the goodies my friends. His words at press con were truly inspirational, particularly on retirement. I think of him a lot in some of the most challenging moments in my life now I’ll remember words specifically.

I have been watching all those clips over and over and over again. Roger's excitement and happiness is contagious. I love how he phrased getting sick of the media asking him about retirement since 2008. Boy how suave he's become and how eloquent. He really told them they were feeding him negativity and proved them wrong in silky smooth polite way. YOU GO CHAMP..

Do you all remember in AO2008 Djoker's mother chanted "the king is dead, long live the king" when her son beat Roger in the SF of the Aus Open, and media was buzzing about changing of the guards. Roger had spent 6 days in the hospital before the event then, he was suffering from grandular fever. Well the King is still here on his star studded throne with over a hundred jewels in his crown Lion
