RF Schedule 2018

An updated version of Roger's 2018 schedule :

- Results for the grass season added.
- Toronto greyed out as Roger withdrew from the Rogers Cup.

The rest of the year should remain pretty much as is, except for Paris, which is unconfirmed and always a ?, usually until the day before the tournament!  

It's good to have this chart and have an idea of what Roger will be playing! Also, I had noticed along the way the goodies that you added to each person's post....making youtube available, and so on.

you think he's going to do what like tournaments again this year? I think for Shanghai, Bâle and WTF! I think he needs confidence! he won 17 matches from January to March and 19 from March to September! I hope he will quickly get back into shape! I also hope that it will finally reach the 100 titles and why not again this year!

Yes, Roger confirmed Shanghai and Basel and obviously he will also qualify for the WTF. Paris, however... Pas sûr du tout! It will depend how he feels after Basel, how much he has played, or whatever. My guess is that he most likely won't play to save himself for the London Finals.

Is it possible that next year Roger will play clay tournaments? if so, do you see what he does as tournaments?

I would be shocked if Roger played Paris. #1 is not even a possibility so why should he bother? He's got enough to worry about trying to defend Shanghai and Basel, and a SF at the WTFs.

When he skipped the clay again this year, it signaled to me that he would never play clay again. 2017 was the year to try for a second RG. It's not even a pipe dream now.

I believe it is still on. Someone asked Roddick on Twitter if it would be televised and he said 'no'.

Roger is qualified for the WTF for the 16th time! it's just a record participation held by Jimmy Connors!

Where are you off to after New York?

Chicago next, then a tournament in Shanghai, a home tournament in Basel. But we’re going to go to East Hampton after the US Open, and I’m bringing family to China and Japan together which I’m very excited about. I’ve always wanted to travel to Asia with my kids, but they were too young. But now the twin boys are 4 and girls are 9. Then at the end of the year I’m probably going back to the Maldives with my family before starting training again in Dubai.

There are also some videos on Shanghai Tournament website sayings he´s playing.

Do you think he's doing the Tokyo tournament to honor his sponsor?

^^ Yes, he was going to play Shanghai as far as I remember. So LC, Shanghai and Basel plus WTFs!
