Re: 2018 General Tennis News
Thank you all for the articles. This kind of public statement only makes me dislike even more this kid. You must be really so arrogant to talk this way of a former champion, even if - in private - things went badly.

And he is a kind of "pretty boy", at least for now. I do think that things get to his headl He needs to follow the example of those who have discipline.

I can't wish for Djokovic to be successful. I don't like his game, still. Also, he is somewhat better behaved, but i find that his irritating habit of first press conference at a tournament he brings a plateful of "treats' for the reporters. Reminds me of the Godfather's meetings with the capo', and the passing around of a tray with jewellery, watches, etc. on it!!! No matter how I look at it, it is not a likeable or generous act. If he is trying to ingratiate himself. or show Serb hospitality, it is in the wrong place. Those men are not little toddlers who gather around for treats.
I do understand the desire to have him win on clay, instead of someone else. All this newer habit of older champions mingling with current players is like a competition of some kind.
Whose horse is going to win?

Re: 2018 General Tennis News
I think Roger will be the first to say that in his youth he, too, did not have discipline (remember the story of his father actually rubbing Roger's face in the snow to cool him off?)
May be I am too ready to try and hope for the goodness in people to come out but I am still hoping that Sascha will find his way as will Kyrgios. After all what Kyrgios said to Stan was really, really awful but we have moved on.

Looks like Djoker is back with his old coach Marian Vajda, at least for the time being.

That new 'Borg Vs McEnroe' movie opens this week (at least in the US). It's gotten a decent 80% "fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes. I'll probably wait for the DVD to see this, but I'll no doubt watch it since I was a huge Borg fan back then, and I watched that match live on TV. Well, it was "Breakfast at Wimbledon" on NBC, so it probably was actually tape delayed back then.

I am so happy for Stan. I wonder what happened between him an Norman - I hope it has been resolved.

Yeah, that is what Magnus said. Although I also read that Stan was blindsided by it. Still, if they are working together right now, then obviously there are no bad feelings between them.
Hopefully Stan will be back soon. We need him along with Delpo and Djoker to step it up for the rest of the clay season.
