They are roaring more that Team Europe. I note that they are going in for the "height" advantage. And no Kyrgios? Was that his not wanting to participate or did they leave him out because of recent events? If it's the latter, it is a mistake, think.

It will be interesting to see if Kyrgios gets picked. He loves the event, no doubt. And if Sock is healthy, J-Mac will probably pick him again due to his doubles prowess. Any chance the Rest-of-The-World team has probably rests on the doubles.

Tsitsipas has been added to Team Europe and Kyrgios has been added to Team World. I figured J-Mac would bring Kyrgios back - he loves that event and excels in team competition.

This is Felicity here, I do not post much but visit daily and read some of your posts. Well, I just received my Laver Cup tickets in the mail yesterday! Woo hoo! I can't believe it. I'm really going to Geneva to watch Roger in flesh... first time in a tennis tournament (2nd time watching Roger).

Anyway, just want to give a shout out to anyone who's going to Geneva. I'm visiting Paris first and will be happy to meet up any RF fans before, during or after Laver Cup.

It was a no-brainer, coz Paris is one of my favourite cities to visit.

Kevin Anderson won't be playing in Geneva. He has decided to end his 2019 tennis season to allow him to fully recover from his knee injury.

John McEnroe on Felix Auger-Aliassime turning down his invitation to join the World team:

McEnroe: "I tried to get him on the team, he (Auger-Aliassime) passed on the Laver Cup... His team and agent wanted him to go and play Chengdu. I'm not often at a loss for words, but definitely got me on that one."

Felicity, I am so pleased for you! What a treat, and then, there is Paris, too. Be careful, though. Hope you have a companion, as it is nice to share the experience.

I didn't know the Hall of Fame was in Newport, Rhode Island! I always had a romantic idea about Rhode Island, much the way I did about New Orleans.
So good to know the Laver Cup is in residence!!
